Naminé
- Chris is a nice person. He has a lot of goals and desires out of life, which is admirable.
- Yuzuriha's friendliness and cheerfulness is catchy, and Inuki is a good dog. They always makes her feel welcomed.
- Kaname's polite but kind. He has an air of power, so she's careful with him.

Chris
- Thinks Naminé's a nice girl. She's patient with him when they talk and listens to whatever he wants to talk about.
- Yuzuriha's bright and happy, though her dog is a little strange, but they both seem like good people.
- Doesn't really like Kaname on the basis that Zero doesn't like Kaname. Avoids when possible.

Yuzuriha
- In her opinion Naminé is cute and a helpful person! Once in a while they'll share snacks during mealtimes. She likes Naminé!
- Chris is funny and occasionally silly, but always fun. They ramble about nothing in particular sometimes.
- Kaname is cooool~ in that slightly mysterious way! She'll cheerfully greet him when they come across each other.

Kaname
- Thinks Naminé is a gentle girl.
- Chris is terrible at lying. Everything about him is honest.
- Yuzuriha's cheerful, yet strong. She truly has other people's interests at heart. And her little dog, too.

Bonus Inuki

General life:
They all find themselves ~strangely~ in each other's vicinity once in a while. Naminé, Yuzuriha, and Chris get along pretty well, while Kaname is sort of simply there. The other three think Kaname has a lot of magnetism in that sexy-clothing-model-but-why-are-you-here-randomly kind of way. He attempts to small talk with Chris sometimes, but it's always a little tense and a little awkward. Yuzuriha's really forward as usual, but Inuki ain't having any of that around Kaname. Naminé watches and tries to absorb what's happening.

That one preemptive relationship meme. Name one of yours and one of mine that don't have a relationship or have only threaded like once, and I'll reply in a month when/if it exists!

Here is how it works. Today is October 22nd. I am posting a relationship meme. The catch is, you have to comment to it asking about a relationship we don't have yet. Either the characters haven't threaded or they've threaded like once.

On November 22nd I will reply to the meme. That means we have a month to try and actually create that relationship. THIS POST IS LIKE MY VOW THAT I WILL THREAD WITH YOU, SOMEHOW, IN THE NEXT MONTH, MORE THAN ONCE. Obviously sometimes characters don't click and that's cool! We can move on! But the attempt will be made, and then a month from today you'll have a relationship meme response waiting for you.

Notes: I'm most available on the late evenings CST! My thread stamina comes and goes, but please remind me if there is stuff I need to pick up. ♥

Naminé: Calm, nice, friendly, occasionally sad Nobody that draws once in a while.
Chris: Derpy but well-meaning cleric with a slight tendency to annoy others.
Yuzuriha: Genki girl with a spirit dog on Team Keep Humanity Alive.
Kaname: Refined, dark and not quite broody vampire who only wants his sister is that so wrong.

Somehow, I actually ended up writing stuff.

A loose summary of AUdie:
Carnival food, good. Carnival food, bad. Girl I don't know dying on the Tv, very very bad. Yuta dying, WORST BAD. Baw, baw. Zero's life up on voting, just terrible. Must get smarter. Putting faith in PH Vincent's abilities... success?

I wanted to say, although AUdie is AU or dreamthing as some are treating it, there was character development for Chris that I would be more than happy to carry out of it. Chris has always been a loud-mouthed, slightly annoying, yet cheery and optimistic cleric. He's used to people smacking HIM when he has a verbal faux-pas, but that Monsieur Loyal punished him (?) by plunking Yuta into the game and then Yuta subsequently getting killed - critical hit! Yuta's, like, the angry-but-lovable little brother to half of camp already, and after the thing with the memory/mirror Chris feels real protective of him too. So, felt pretty guilty because of that and Riku's nightmare he had and yeah! Chris resolved to play it smarter, play more seriously, hence not voting on Zero in the third round (which!! yessss was right), and then going to Vincent for help. Was THIS smart? I don't know, but it worked! That has to count for something. And eventually everyone was saved, released, things weren't chopped off, got to know people, BEST END.

He's still a derpy cleric but after AUdie he'll think twice before he speaks. (Sometimes.) He has always had lofty goals of being the Greatest High Cleric Ever and just doing things because he thinks he's right and he's egotistical about his title and his powers and full of delusions of grandeur - but camp has humbled him much. His actions actually affect other people. Oh hell, bad essay, but in conclusion Chris is growing up and away from his canon self and that always brings character jitters, but I will keep going. Maybe he will actually be cool one day. \8D/

Not extremely active but I enjoy the threading with her when I do. Sometimes I wonder if I'm just really boring with her, but her threads are usually nice and calm and easy and she gets along well with most people. I want to throw her at more tsun people or loud people just to see how it'd go. UM there's not much else to saaaaay. I don't have 358/2 yet but I've been reading up on spoilers like mad. Potential for new castmates is thrilling.

Perhaps I was playing him too much recently because I started feeling the strain, but then cfuw: Masque edition arrived and he took a backseat for once. But then I still wanted to play him! And now I'm gonna TL;DR about him! And bawing over not catching Yuta after the game. Hey let's go goof off in your tree-fort and eat pies off screen or something Yuta. Anyway, Chris is my baby and I love him and I play for character development and he has a lot of CR, growing friendships like Rath and Kurumu, a pseudo camp-family that he really loves and would do anything for, and a best friend.

I'll take the space here to babble about Zero since I didn't answer in the relationship meme in Yuzu's journal: other than Master Hejem back home, Chris hasn't had anyone he could depend on completely, and depending on a father-figure versus relying on a friend is quite different. Chris can be stupid, closed-minded, loud, and needed someone to smack some sense into him without trying to demean him. He appreciates being appreciated, he likes being liked, etc, and quietly he's really grateful he has people who give a damn about him like Yuta, Ebi, and Zero. In AUdie Chris realized how terrified he was of losing Yuta or Zero, and also realized how terrified they were of losing him too. Mutual terror all around!!1 But it opened up his eyes. That aside, Chris is really happy at camp and almost fears leaving and never seeing them again, especially Zero since he's Chris's rock in a way. (...Zero being anyone's rock is kind of lol. :U Like how Zero was like the ONE SANE ONE in AUdie. How did this happen idek.)

He also needed someone he could be open to, and while Raenef and Erutis back home are good friends he just couldn't see himself being vulnerable around them. However, he hopes to see them again someday (HINT) and maybe try to prove to them that he's a better (...and cooler, hur...) person than before.

I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START. Like, a month and a half ago I was angsting about playing her and not playing her and things weren't going anywhere and it wasn't at a place that I wanted to be with her and I kept dropping threads. But then!! I decided that I loved her character and didn't want to let her go yet because she's a fresh breath of joyful air, and went to heck with it just play. I helped motivate myself by getting the idea of doing ~invisible action tags~ for Inuki every-so-often and guessing how long until someone noticed, which Canaan subsequently spotted like two threads after I started lol and you win a prize that I will get to soon. 8U!!!

But guuuuuys I was so happy to play her in CFUW. She did stuff! And got to know awesome people in the game! And out of my whole lineup would be least affected by dying due to being JOY I'M ALIVE AGAIN. She feels bad for voting people out, and felt sad that Benio argued for her being a wolf because Yuzuriha has a strong sees-Inuki bias and had switched her vote from Benio to Klavier the second ousting partially due to that. And then, Yuzuriha knew Benio was targetting her with the ousting she was eaten baw :(. But it was the nature of the game, someone had to go, she wanted to fight alongside Rinoa anyway! \o/ GAMES ASIDE, Yuzuriha loev everything and everyone, and my castmates are so awesome. ;o; And yes Kamui, this convo should happen IC somehow someday. :3!!

Kaname
I just got him didn't I? He still has that shiny new character feel for me. I don't play him enough! Especially after the burst of activity a month ago! I'm still working out the kinks in his voice (in my mind anyway) and trying to get him to find his comfort zone at camp, but I love him so far, he's just a nice change of pace. His interactions are usually calm, like Naminé's are, but different. I debated for a little bit if I wanted to play him apathetic and detached since he never really deals with "normal" people on a regular basis, or take a more diplomatic approach. I went with the latter, since he'll need to build some relations with fellow campers. I'm sorry if he doesn't actually care too deeply for your characters! ;; KEEP TOUCHING HIM THOUGH, I FULLY SUPPORT TOUCHING. He sees most of his growing relationships as "useful" at the moment, like a business relation. He's fonder towards some than others, but he's still trying to get over the possibility of being separated from Yuuki for a long time. BUT WHO KNOWS, THIS MAY CHANGE SOON... ETA: I'm sorely afraid of mucking his characterization up. b-baww. But the show must go oooon, jitters will fade one hopes.

Basically, Kaname is working his thing and I'm content to let him sit back and watch you sleep from the shadows, and stuff will hopefully come his way soon.

- Naminé I'm comfortable with breaking out every so often. She has a group of people she interacts with a lot, but I need to tag different people.

- My activity for Yuzuriha dropped a whole bunch after the first month, which is a big oops on my part. MUST TOUCH PEOPLE MORE. Sometimes I get a little waffley because I'm cautious about making Inuki into a Lovely Item I throw out as an excuse to interact with people, while keeping in mind that people like dogs! They like interacting with dogs! Right? I'm trying not to have it be shallow threads. :|b Reminder to self, pick up older threads.

- Chris will always be my baby and I love playing the retard of a cleric. My obvious front runner. Been trying to interact with mooore people. My shameful RP SEKRIT: sometimes I mentally label my CR as paths/characters in a dating sim. Hurna hurna. The loli! The onee-san! The girl next-door! The ho yay! The stupid sexy one! ...Not seriously, of course, but for fun.

- Kaname! I was jittery at first but I think it's settling. I hoooope. As I've told a few people before, I usually try to only app into canons none of my characters have a strong camp-relationship with. 8| Well, it took me 8 or so months before getting the gall to app Vampire Knight after devouring it, haha. No regrets! Kaname's a great change of RP voice for me. Not as stoic and unsociable as I made Auron out to be, but polite, diplomatic, and charismatic to the general population (after getting over the STUCK IN CAMP part from the intro post, anyway). I kind of bawww a little because Zero is a big part of Chris's camp web, but I want to play with Kaname too! 8| "Who do I choose in xxxx thread??" RP Schizophrenia, I has it, lol.

IC: Was deaged and cured of the status effect: childhood amnesia. Can you predict how that goes? Chris has always been more or less a care-free kind of guy despite the pomp of being ~High Cleric~ so remembering that he has experienced some pain in his life is hitting him. Talking to Ebi helped him a lot, but for the next few weeks he'll be coping with it and others may find him a bit more serious than usual. He's also rethinking his opinions of demons, but we'll see where that goes.
OOC: Cautious? See, I've always been a fan of watching characters evolve beyond what they've been allowed to in their canon. Chris is treading towards those waters and I hope I'm not writing him too ooc or boring or mild. 8|!! Also, he just hit 5k comments, I guess if you want an updated relationship meme just drop a line here.
Plans: Talk to demony peeps. Maybe be kinda cool for once in his life.

I know, everyone has an Angsty McSad past. Here's Chris's! /o/!!1? All aboard the trauma llama.

Series: Demon Diary
Facts: Demons attacked Chris's town and killed everyone. The clerics came and found him two months later.
Notes: Filling in the time between the above with some head-canon. "Fic" is made up of just short bits and fragments. Begins and ends with quotes, etc.

"Don't cry, Chris," she whispered, and looked up at him with her own wet eyes.

There was noise outside of their home, but he couldn't hear any of it. There was no sound and no sight except of his mother's shallow gasps and the blood pooling under her long, dark hair.

His mother believed in the God Rased and taught him that Rased was kind, loving, and would be there to protect his believers. God must be a lot like his mother, Chris had decided as most children do at one point in their lives. She cared for him, held him, was the one who laughed and danced with him. She also scolded him when he was unreasonable and even boxed his ears on occasion. However she would still, somehow, be there to put him to bed every night no matter what he did. He wanted to believe in him, because Chris believed in her.

Please God, please... he started, but didn't know how to finish. Because in the end it was really someone else he prayed to, but he already knew she could not answer him.

Still, somehow, there was an answer.

Many times that day Chris thought he saw long, dark shadows cross the doorway of his home, but they always managed to move on just before reaching him. Did they not see him, standing there? He couldn't call up the will to quake or even try to hide. He just wanted it over with. Were they playing with him? Would they come back to finish him off, too?

Demons, he thought, distantly. The word was echoed by someone far from there, as a stuttered scream.

Like his mother before him, Chris would not move from his spot for days.

There was heat outside, fire, and he could hear the cries of countless people as their lives fled. It could have been a neighbor or a friend from the market, but their voices were warped with terror, and anger, and what emotions he'd never imagined he could hear balled into one last wail.

Chris had been relieved when the screams outside stopped. He thought it couldn't get worse - but if fate had been listening they took it as a challenge. There would be no rescue... he would have to wait for it.

Her eyes were opened. He couldn't even pretend she was sleeping.

-

Even in the feverish heat of the summer, he wasn't thirsty. He felt no hunger and no need to sleep. The town around him was silent now and had been for longer than he could count. The bodies outside expanded then shrunk, dried, and burned under the high sun. He walked through what was left of his home, and regretted it.

Chris wouldn't cry. She had told him not to. He gulped down the thickness in his throat and walked on.

He would not get very far, however. The bridges had been crushed and the steep walls of the valley were more than a boy like him could climb. He had no where to go except back.

It wasn't completely silent, he realized later. There were black birds, whose calls sounded angry to his ears. The buzzing of flies as well. Ants scattered over the ground, busy, unaware. He watched and listened to it all and found it almost a comfort to know not everything had ended, yet.

Chris was in a daze. Perhaps he was dreaming? There were men in the valley riding through with horses. They collected the bodies of his town for a massive funeral pyre - and the smoke could be seen for miles.

He approached them but his feet moved in slow, practiced steps. His heart was a different matter - fast, racing. Was he excited? Relieved? He could no longer tell and had forgotten how his face should move. Everything felt heavy. All at once, he was tired... but he had to make it.

Fragments of a gem held together by the strength of their will - that was the symbol of Rased. These men that turned to him, clerics, wore it. They thought he might be a ghost. An older man knelt and, after a moment of what was either horror or awe, hugged Chris.

"I will take him with me," said Hejem, the High Cleric of Rased. "I will raise him."

Sorry I had my headphones off this evening so I missed a few PMs and pings 8(! Aaah, sorry!!

Chris
IC: Is quite comfortable at camp! After 4+ long months of being here, the confessions post had him finally admit he didn't hate the demons at camp. There ARE still some conflicted feelings still there, but don't be surprised if he doesn't mention the demon thing much anymore. He may still reflexively go demon!!1! once in a while, but not as GRR-ARGH as he used to. And, he has friends! Yay friends! Overall, Chris is pretty happy and getting some exp points in maturity.

OOC: I admit, I love Chris like he's my retarded baby monkey. I like his balance of interactions which range from silly to serious. I WANT to play more with him - lots more. At the same time, I'm trying to be careful with his voice and, well, character growth. Before I ever apped him, I knew I wanted him to "grow up". What this means, exactly, is to be seen but I don't want to go spiralling off into "lol ooc whut". Wishing he had castmates. ;;

Plans: Deage, body-switch, gender-switch, turn into a hedgehog, basically all the usual Camp effects though not necessarily in that order. I may also need someone to break his brain eventually. (!!) IDK, ask if you're curious. :|a I have months of plans.

IC: Kairi is baaaaack~! Naminé is at a very good point in her camp life, too. While the fall-out with Replica still aches (hi Heat hi), she has accepted his decision to step away for a while and all that jazz. She accepts lots of things. She wants to live as well as she can, while she can, and though that sounds foreboding in a drop meme - don't worry! Naminé has no plans of fading away.

OOC: Feeling comfortable with her voice more than ever. Particularly thinking about the threads in Kairi's intro ninja-ing. She's a bit canon- and cast-reliant to my regret, so I haven't been sending her out as much. I'm both wary and looking forward to KH:358/2, which comes out this month in Japan.

Plans: Maybe do some kind of co-post with castmates sometime. Body-switch? Some kind of art post? I should pick up adding drawings to her picture diary again. ;;

IC: His duty as a guardian is over, Spira was saved from Sin, and it's like he entered into retirement at a ripe age of 35 but realized he has all this free time - so now what? Is wandering around like a hobo looking for a hobby. He's glad Tidus and Yuna got their Perfect Ending

OOC: So. Backburny. Voice is still trying to settle, which isn't helped by my not playing him very often. I keep reminding myself that it's okay to have short threads with him. Anyway, he's sticking around until the next counselor rounds at least. I'll decide before then if I can keep playing him or should give the chance to someone more dedicated.

Plans: Jump people more! Maybe see what kind of Monster Arena -like creation could be born from capturing camp's beasties. Perhaps train with castmates to see how much they've improved in fighting.
Drop: The most likely out of my characters, but giving him like 2 more months to get into things.

Actually, it was after stalking the Avatar cast at camp for a year and after getting over my initial shyness (Secret, I used to be embarrassed and avoidy when someone told me they knew my fanart, like, somewhere that wasn't on my LJ or DA. I don't know why, couldn't help it, I'm sorry!! ;o; I was stupid. Then I grew out of it I swear.) I saw that our current Riku had gotten in and so I went through cfud history to see who was still around from the old KH cast that I stalked off and on and noticed Naminé had gone a while ago. :( I loved that purple crayon thread... So I bawwwed and then apped.
Select Option 3? Only very few series have eaten me - Kingdom Hearts and Yami no Matsuei. (I'm a loyal fangirl.) There are things I still want to do with Naminé and I need to interact with my lovely, supportive castmates more. I'm pretty comfortable with her voice though it was hard and shaky and first-character-y in the beginning, lol.

I wrote his app the day after counselor rounds closed and then sat on his lame lj name because I liked it, although I probably should have waited and tried to come up with something later that was actually funny.

[ooc] Essay 01: Supergenius and the Beasts

So...I'm probably long due for an essay.

Uuuh, okay!

Section 1: Chris and his issues with demons.
In canon it was mostly played for laughs, save for one backstory chapter. In camp, I've been trying to balance it. But here is some info!

Firstly, his Childhood Angst Trauma: boils down to demons destroying his town and killing his mother in front of him. Second - he doesn't remember this because of our friend Amnesia. However, his previous feelings of fear and loneliness and guilt (about surviving) that event weren't forgotten and translated through as hatred. He hates demons, but he doesn't really know why. [eta: He hates what they represent to him subconciously, which is loss.] While currently he's mentally working out that he doesn't have a reason to hate demons that he knows of (not like why Darc hates humans, or Zero hates everything) and perhaps shouldn't feel this way... that block is still keeping him stuck. The general feelings about demons aren't going away so easily, despite attempts at changing his mind.

But, in contradiction, there are plenty of demons he does like. It's a gradual exposure thing - the more he's around someone, the more he sees them as a real person and can disassociate them with his view of the stereotypical demon. (Also note, demons in his canon are usually proud, powerful, and don't like humans. Demons actually introduced dark arts to humans in hopes they'd destroy themselves.) Chris pictures them as arrogant and out to get humans.

Section 2: Some notable people in regards to above!
- Etna! Who... beat him to a pulp in his intro post. orz Not a great start for a friendship, but violence between friends is quite par for the course in his canon, and he wasn't dead by the end of the fight! She fits all his expectations for a demon perfectly, but with that in mind, she began breaking through that box due to her personality. Also, she helped him in the Wolf battles back during the CFUW event. Saving his ass is always A+ in Chris's book. She reminds him a lot of Erutis, who in canon usually berated him and gave him a reality check when it came to his lame broken record of demon-hate. PS lets thread more.
- Dakki! Who is his first real experience with feminine wiles, having been raised in the temple for all of his known life. She is also soft and squishy and, God, was that a hormone? HIGH CLERICS AREN'T SUPPOSED TO HAVE HORMONE - *squish*. She has been nothing but enthusiastically friendly, and Chris is quite flattered by the attention. It also pings his mother issues but that's... I'm going to steer away from weird Oedipal talk.
- Kurumu because she's so... normal, friendly, and also a good advice giver. 8|a They argued when they met, but it quickly deflated when she apologized about insulting his parents and Chris was just... very surprised.
- Doyle... is half-demon. Heeee's been cool and Chris sort of views him as a mentor in a way? They're both working on the same side, whatever that side means. Almost doesn't count for him.
- Haruka, Sera, who are WEIRD and TRYING TO TALK SENSE INTO HIM and making more sense than he wants to admit.
- Darc, also half, who he doesn't really like, but can respect because of the stuff he learned about his history. Chris completely started off on the wrong foot with this demon-who-hates-humans, and continued sticking his other foot into his mouth the next several times they've had an encounter. CHRIS, A MINI-DOUCHE?

Here is a graph, and everyone is compared to Raenef because he is Chris's only official demon friend.

Section 3: PS, VAMPIRES DON'T COUNT (kinda)
Unexpected friendship with Zero was... very unexpected. I'm not sure where to start, but I'll also refer to my thread log for FYI, and I'll summarize stuff here. Chris saw some similarities in their goals (destroy demons/protect people), and liked hanging around Zero because he was a trained Hunter and was so SRS BZNS and dedicated to his job. Similar to what Kharg said in his own essay, yes, Zero's a role model to fellow racists. Another thing was when most people were like "you're alive, you're fine" after his first Camp death versus a Mononoke (oh God, that was terrifying), Zero was going to go out there to try and find the thing and kill the shit out of it before it got to anyone else. That really made an impression.

And then Chris got bitten by Spike. Zero came to stop it but... whoops, vampire too! This rescue operation was fail. But Chris got away with Zero's help and managed to dust Drusilla in the process. MAIN POINT: So you're a freaky thing but tried to help me ANYWAY. I guess you pass. Eventually Chris finds out a lot about Zero. He's a good guy who had a lot of sucky things happen to him, and a friend now.

Jumping way ahead, past mulling about what makes a good cleric, past SERIOUS PONY BUSINESS, and character development to the present. Chris is a cleric, clerics are supposed to be helpful and full of goodness and etc, but this is now beyond trying to help someone just because it's a duty - he actually WANTS to. And he's never really met someone like Zero who hated themselves like this before. Chris gets angry about any self-destructive talk because one, raised in an environment where living is always a GOOD thing, two, he really isn't fond of death. It pings him in the "watching people die" place he's not aware of. Copy pasta-ing stuff from chat, he may be deluding himself into thinking he could try to keep Zero out of trouble (which is... riiiiiight...), but he'll be damned if he isn't going to try. Zero's fallible, needs help, and it doesn't look like anyone else is offering. SO CHRIS WILL SAVE THE DAY!!!1! /o/ Short of putting Zero on SUICIDE WATCH.

Chris will be a bit awkward for a little while after everyone is healed and rested and fine again. The experience scared him but not in the why-are-we-friends way, more of a why'd-I-do-that way. A cleric? Letting a bloodsucker get away with drinking human blood? fff that should be a Holy Bolt to the head. But he'll get over it because it was no one's fault, also HIGH CLERIC MY WORD IS LAW ANYWAY I'LL DO AS I PLEASE, and plus he does like Zero. Out of everyone in camp, he trusts him most. Chris may like all the people listed up there, but trust is harder to come by.

How long did this essay take? So late, I hope that was somewhat coherent. Man, I can't think of what else to write about for now, so TO BE CONTINUED? If there are any questions or concerns about anything, please comment.

I like Chris... and I don't have the ability to essay about a character as well as the other people out there can about their own, so I'll talk with image dumps.

Chris doesn't really think people are ever referring to him, oh no.

I attribute it to his upbringing at the temple. I envision it going something like this:
"Do you need help with that (fill in task)?"
"No, Chris! That's all right, please continue training~"
"Oh... okay."
And then no one asks him anything from him. It's almost like being ignored. :(

PS, what quality of scans?

Chris gets along well with others! AKA, others who are just a little demon-racist. (To a point.)

This is essentially why he got along with Zero pretty well in the beginning.

However, he does like Raenef. This is after his battle with Evil-Raenef:

Chris is worried that he killed him - demon or not, he's a friend! And he's quite obviously relieved to hear Raenef will be all right.

And when Raenef disappears, he offers to help Eclipse find him.

...And thus concludes his arc of "Hates demons -> except the ones he likes."

State of the union: After meeting all the demons and half-demons and deimos and Others, he hasn't really had a negative experience so far! Actually, they all act like normal people (well, yeah). Chris is also starting to realize just what it means to be a cleric, which is to care about the people around them. He's finally in an environment where he can be useful and there are people who want his help (whether they realize it or not). Essentially, clerics are meant to heal. (And a High Cleric is meant to lead.)

So, he's going to be a bit more easy-going from here on out towards demons. He's on friendly terms with ones like Dakki, Kurumu, Doyle, Etna, maybe Sera (more later if I remember). Neutral at Darc, Kharg, and everyone else. He's growing more beyond his subconscious-made-conscious haeet, though I try to keep a strong bit of it as it was a big part of his motivations for the last few years.

...I forget how the rest of the State of the Meme goes, so the end.

Clothing/Appearance: Very simple.

Note, DESPITE the fact close to half of Chris' icons are chibi/super-deformed (occasionally confusing), he is a gangly teenager of 15/16. His cleric robe is actually green, unlike my journal's default icon which was all speshull coloring. Under his robe is a white shirt and black pants. ETA: Each ear is double-pierced.

Habits/Mannerisms/Body Language: Icons themselves a pretty good indicator, actually. Spazzes when he's spazzy. Calm when calm. Does not excessively hand-gestures, but lots of body language giving away his mood and thoughts. He gest a lot of [action tags] because he's a fairly physical guy. Also, drapes people he's comfortable with and when he feels like imparting wisdom on you, but his drapings are never skeevy.

Current Residence: Captain Amelia's ship.

Typical Daily Routine: Wake, brief prayer, food. Goof off, explore, noon food. Goof off and bug people he knows, chores, dinner. Accuse a demon of something minor before losing interest or getting kicked. Sleep. Chris gets lonely easily so tries to be around a lot of people, especially people he knows well.

Favourite Haunts: Mess Hall. The Church once in a while, though it's not his religion (he's curious!). Training grounds to attempt some cane-fighting. He doesn't go into the forest too often if he can help it because he GETS LOST REALLY EASILY and may wander in circles for hours until someone finds him. :(

Makes own bed?: Of course.

Dear ~~Diary~~ Chronicle,

If you find this then it probably means I dropped this somewhere PLEASE RETURN, POST-HASTE. However, in the event I either am devoured by demons or Rased calls me home to his holy realm, my only wish is for this tale to live on... forever! My name is Chris, a humble cleric. And this is my story. (MY story. YES!)

Ok, enough of that, I have the next 3 days off so started it by killing a few hours making a picture dump and some generic descriptions. 8D!
DEMON DIARY, GUYS! REMEMBER WHEN THAT WAS MAYBE ONE OF FOUR BOY-LOVE-ISH SERIES OUT IN ENGLISH?

Once upon a time, there was a Demon Lord. "Best Dim" is right - he's a really sweet, ditzy, innocent demon called Raenef (the 5th). He grew up on the streets as a thief before Eclipse came to fetch him after the previous lord died. But you know what they say about books and covers and uh...

And if you take him from before the end of the series, you could have his competent side occasionally emerge in a scary mode.

Next, Eclipse (counselor):

His servant? A housewife! Once known for his cruelty during the Hangma War, Eclipse is a REALLY POWERFUL demon who vowed his servitude to Raenef (idk why). Also, the artist looooved him because look just look at all those sweeping lines of hair and wind. He was also very loyal to Raenef the 4th and had some unresolved issues with him. Personality-wise, he's very mature, put-upon, easily annoyed by stupid antics, and sweet on Raenef. /o/ All demons want him.

Erutis (camper):

Once a mercenary, she is a knight, a swordsmaster, and a shipper! She's spunky, funny, not afraid to throw some punches (ususally at me orz), and gets mistaken for a boy a lot. She has a bit of a crush on Eclipse and acts like an older sister towards Raenef at times, despite originally invading his castle wanting to fight the demon lord.

Krayon (counselor):

- Powerful, arrogant, cheerful Demon Lord
- rules the dream realm
- wants Eclipse for himself as a manservant. Demonservant.
- has a THING for Erutis/spunky girls

rp laundry list

I can't essay well, but I can certainly laundry list about Chris.

Pings:
- Demons, again. While he does want to get rid of demons, once he gets that you're not evil he's probably not apt to attack 24/7. He... joins your party. Maybe as a party member that occasionally hopes you to do turn evil so he can fight you for a dramatic victory... but not seriously.

- Complimenting him at all. He has delusions of grandeur, although they are normally stomped on in canon.

- Also, doing nice things (optionally, without telling anyone about it). When he found out how much work Eclipse put into being everyone's house elf with cooking/cleaning for the cast Chris comes up with a plan - that they should cook and clean for a change! Of course, this backfires because while Chris is awesome at cleaning, Raenef and Erutis pretty much failed all over their own tasks. :(

- Training talk. Master Hejem tells him he still needs to train before he can replace him as High Cleric.

- Death. It'll ping him in the back of him mind. ~subconciously~ or something. A scene from his childhood, taking place soon after the clerics found him -

Chris: Alive.
High Cleric Hejem: (A quiet voice, but his intonation was unsettling.) What's alive, Chris?
Chris: Flowers, birds... even ants are alive and moving.
Hejem: Is that strange to you? Humans too are alive an scurrying about.
Chris: Then... why do they die? Why do people die? And so easily. Right before my eyes.
Chris: Flowing red blood is life. Without life, there is the blackness of death.
Chris: Why am I alive? When everyone else is dead? Right before my eyes...
(Chris's mother: Chris... don't cry, honey...)
Chris: She died!!
[Hejem embraces him.]
Hejem: Chris. It's okay. It's going to be okay.
Chris: *tears falling* I -- I'm scared to die.
Chris: So scared. I couldn't talk. My mother... told me not to cry. Then she died. I wanted to weep... but a weight was pushing down on me and I couldn't...
Hejem: (Perhaps because he had suppressed it for so long, he began to wail.)

- Memory issues? A sorta ping. Chris doesn't know he has forgotten anything, which is the point with memory blocks I suppose. But FYI another scene, this time with Rased about Chris:

Rased: You have nothing to fear, Hejem. That poor child... the pain is too much for him.
Hejem: Just as I thought... you gave him stength.
Rased: He called to me.
Rased: In that chaos... only this child's heart called to me. And I... have chosen him. Very soon... the world of the Demon Lords will change. When that change comes, this child... will lead my people.
[Rased touches Chris' sleeping face.]
Rased: To ease his pain, I've erased his memories. One day it will swim to the surface. Raise him well. He is very precious to me. Likewise, he will become precious to you.

[Later, after Chris wakes.]
Hejem: (Knowing that Rased had erased Chris' memory, I attempted to slowly fill him in. Rased cleared the past from his mind, but...)
Chris: Oh... I'm a cleric. Is that why I don't like demons?
Chris: I want to annihilate them. I hate them.
Hejem: (...his feelings could not be erased.)

....So that is his childhood trauma!!! Now you don't have to read the manhwa?! \o/ Fun times, fun times.

Random Knowledge:
- He likes people in general.
- There's a gem on the hilt of his staff. Apparently any gem is used for power focusing, etc, some RPG-like explanation here because I forget what page this was mentioned on.
- He's dense. He's a fast learner and smart in knowledge and etc. But he's dense and demons are his stupid.
- Apparently having black hair is some sort of thepecial thing (mentioned a lot about Eclipse), so in my headcanon Chris has dark brown.

Important life events
- Town killed.
- Chosen by Rased... can his powers eventually.
- Adopted by the current High Cleric, which means he'll be the next High Cleric.
- Memory-wiped by Rased.
- Summoning Raenef and subsequently being sent to live with the demons. Actually getting along with them.
- Having an "epic" battle with Raenef to save him. The manhwa rarely approaches serious business on anything. Even the teaser on the back made book 6 sound more interesting than it turned out to be. "Chris' hatred of demons has grown and he has decided to attack the Demon Lord!" - ...Except, kinda not!
- He does become High Cleric for maybe 10 seconds and then Hejem thinks better of it and takes away his hat. :|a

Canon relationships:
- Hejem: is like a father to him. Hejem loves Chris very much. He's also a fan of corporal punishment, not afraid to thwap Chris on the head if he's doing something idiotic like summon demons.
- Raenef: is a friend, okay? Chris doesn't hate him, demon and all. Raenef's a good guy.
- Eclipse: is neutral, but on okay terms. Likes him, I suppose.
- Erutis: kicks Chris around, and Chris disrespects her. They're full of lawlz and are antagonistic friends.

Plans:
- Yeah, I admit I want to play the memory thing someday. But I don't want to go into dangerous emowangst territory, so whoa, this is the far distant future waaay not soon.
- idk, have Chris make some friends.
